"SPLExploder" is a 3ds Max button-only script designed to split a spline object composed of multiple sub-splines into individual objects. With a single click, the script performs the following actions:
- It automatically renames the selected spline by adding "_ORIGINAL" to its name (e.g., "SplineName_ORIGINAL").
- The script names the new components with variations of the original spline's name followed by numbers (e.g., "SplineName_001").
- Creates a new layer with the original name of the spline and places both the original spline and its components on that layer. Additionally, the script hides the original spline to streamline your workflow.
